How to make Chocolate Muffin at home!- Muffin kaise banaaye
Baking has always been one of the greatest fantasies of all time for me while cooking. And baking something new and interesting is a cherry on top for this domain of cooking. From cakes to cookies, from brownies to muffins, anything which melts in your mouth is baking.
So here I present you my very best baking experience which was making chocolate muffin at home.
Chocolate muffin is something which I always prefer to any beginner who is just getting started in baking.
But not to mention this won't be like any other usual muffin which you find in grocery stores or bakeries, this is a special recipe of Chocolate muffin which you are going to make and feel great of the efforts which you are going to make.
Below I have written my recipe with the Ingredients required to make your baking much easier and simpler, with all that said I believe that I have provided you with a quick overview of baking a muffin and this might give you a headstart in this special sub-domain of cooking.

RECIPE :
Ingredients
- 2 medium eggs
- 125ml vegetable oil
- 250ml semi-skimmed milk
- 250g golden caster sugar
- 400g self-raising flour (or same quantity plain flour and 3 tsp baking powder)
- 1 tsp salt
- 100g chocolate chips or dried fruit such as sultanas or dried cherries (optional)
Method
- 1. pre-heat oven for 10 mins at 180C.
- 2. Add 125ml vegetable oil and 250ml semi-skimmed milk and beat the mixture then add 250g golden caster sugar and whisk until you get a smooth batter.
- 3. Sift in 400g self-raising flour and 1 tsp salt (or 400g plain flour and 3 tsp baking powder if using) then mix until it becomes smooth. Be careful not to over-mix the batter as this will make the muffins tough.
- In-case you do not want to get into the trouble of mixing and combining all the above, there's always a second way- A shortcut- You can buy a ready-made muffin batter from market which is available in different flavors (Ref- Pillsbury Muffin batter)
- 4. Stir in 100g chocolate chips or dried fruit if you want to use.
- Bake it for 20-25 Mins at 180 C until it looks reddish brown and yummy.
- 6. Leave the muffins in the tin to cool for a few mins and transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Now let me tell you the varieties of the muffins you can bake at home and enjoy it either as a morning breakfast or as a dessert after the dinner.
Important tip : -
Try it with favourite chocolate or vanilla ice-cream, sprinkle it with some chocolate sauce and choco-chips for a wholesome mouth-watering taste.
