AVOCADO SALAD : A HEALTHY SALAD

Hello there welcome to my blog. Today we are going to make a healthy salad using avocado and other vegetables. So let's start this blog. In this blog I'll also be giving you the recipe of this salad'.

This is probably one of the most overlooked fruit and speculated to be more expensive than the others maybe that is the reason why Avocado is not that popular when compared to others.

Avocado being the most nutritious fruit it does give some other health benefits also, such as better brain function, better immune system and prevents us to fall sick. It is much more effective for children who are in their growing stage with tons of physical activities. 

Overall the combination of this great fruit with the others make this SALAD as one of the best nutritious dish ever. Besides being nutritious and healthy it is a lot more tastier dish as it may look. 

So without wasting any further time let's get started with 'How to make this delicious recipe of this tasty dish easily at home'

LET'S GO!




This is definitely going into the regular rotation all summer long. Think: homegrown cucumbers and tomatoes :).




Ingredients 


1 lb Roma tomatoes
1 English cucumber
1/2 medium red onion sliced
2 avocados diced
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil or sunflower oil
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (from 1 medium lemon)
1/4 cup 1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 tsp sea salt or 3/4 tsp table salt
1/8 tsp black pepper








How to make healthy 'Avocado Salad' : 

1. Place chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumber, sliced red onion, diced avocado, and chopped cilantro into a large salad bowl.


2. Drizzle with 2 Tbsp olive oil and 2 Tbsp lemon juice. Toss gently to combine. Just before serving toss with 1 tsp sea salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper
